Facial plastic surgery is defined as surgeries performed to give the face a youthful appearance.

These include blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) for sagging or droopy eyelids, bichectomy (cheek reduction surgery), lip-lift (lip lifting surgery), mentoplasty (chin surgery), brow lift, eye shape surgery, facelift and neck lift surgeries.

Blepharoplasty, lip-lift and bichectomy procedures are performed under local anesthesia, while facelift and neck lift are performed under general anesthesia.
